TempIQ: Intelligent Temperature Sensor Telemetry with Built-in IQ

This year MANNER will showcase at the Automotive Testing Expo TempIQ, a new temperature telemetry system designed to make temperature measurement on rotating components smarter, safer and easier than ever before.

Known for miniaturized telemetry solutions, MANNER has taken integration to the next level: TempIQ is 45% smaller than the previous generation, with a compact size of only 7.5 × 17.1 × 3.5 mm per channel. Despite its intelligent and miniaturized design, the system operates at temperatures up to 200°C and withstands centrifugal loads of up to 130,000 g, making it ideal for high-speed rotating applications such as electric motors, generators and e-drive systems.

TempIQ features smart diagnostics that detect polarity errors and thermocouple defects, perform self-tests and allow polarity correction remotely. Built-in EMC robustness supports reliable measurements in electrically demanding environments.

Thermocouple linearization and all calibration data are stored directly on the rotor, enabling precise scaling in °C and safe interchangeability of evaluation units without setup errors.

With integrated threshold monitoring, users can identify and log limit value exceedances, simplify analysis and adjust measurements faster.
