The XtreMA “two-in-one” has two independent signal outputs that ensure optimized accuracy in both measuring ranges. This allows for flexible use, as the user can select the appropriate channel depending on the measurement task.

Accuracy is ensured by two separate calibrations with associated protocols. In addition, the zero point drift Tk0 and the characteristic value drift Tkc are minimized for the respective measuring range depending on the temperature. This results in precise and stable torque measurement over a wide measuring range.

With the XtreMA “two-in-one” torque transducer, both nominal torque measurements and friction power measurements can be carried out without any modifications to the drive train. Robust design for dynamic applications

With an overload rating of 400% of the nominal measuring range, the torque transducer is ideal for use with continuous loads and for measuring peak loads in dynamic operation. Despite this robust technology, the stator antenna remains compact and offers an air gap to the rotor of up to 10 mm.

Wide range of output options and extensions

The standard version of the XtreMA “two-in-one” is available with two analog outputs (±10 V) or two frequency outputs (60 kHz ±30 kHz). Additional variants are available as options, such as an extension of the range to up to 50 mm between the torque transducer and the stator antenna.

Thanks to the modular MANNER system, the XtreMA “two-in-one” can be combined with various evaluation units – from the compact XtreMA unit to the tube or tabletop device variants. In addition to classic analog signals (0.. ±10 V / 4..20 mA) and frequency outputs, digital interfaces such as EtherCAT, CAN, Ethernet, or USB are also available.

In addition, high-resolution speed detection can be integrated, which can be implemented as a single track, with track A/B, or as a pulse/min option.
