Welcome to MANNER Sensortelemetry!

The core competences of MANNER Sensortelemetrie GmbH are custom made and application-specific measuring solutions as well as serial applications for rotating and moving parts, especially designed to meet the highest requirements in respect of process engineering and measurement data quality. Our patented sensor telemetry process guarantees a reliable transmission of precise measurement data via non-contact induction and radio technology, even under the most difficult environmental conditions. A stator antenna collects the measurement data without any physical contact. Consequently, unbiased measuring results can be guaranteed. In the opposite direction, the measuring electronics on the moving component are supplied with energy via inductive coupling.

Our competence is based on over 28 years experience in the development and production of sensor telemetry measuring systems. Innovative new developments, continual improvements and constant adjustment to the markets growing technological demands characterise the products and applications from MANNER. As a result, solutions to problems from a wide range of industry branches at the highest technical level can be developed and realised with the greatest success. Our aspiration to be the industrys innovation leader is expressed in MANNERs high development ratio. Customer use and the maximum precision remain our highest goals, whereby quality and reliability are at the forefront.

As your competent partner, we understand our role as more than just supplying our products. We also advise on defining tasks, develop solutions, install and assist during commissioning, as well as guaranteeing professional after sales support.

Reproducibility and cost reduction of torque calibration through automation

MANNER Sensortelemetrie has created a new dimension of quality through replicability due the brand-new automated process of torque calibration. The achieved cost savings and improved lead times benefit our customers as well.

Motivation – Customer need of faster and more cost efficient calibration

Torque measuring remains the critical parameter to determinate load spectrums, efficiency factors, validation of consumption data and for process monitoring. Due to increasing formalities for climate protection (Dieselgate), more precise and traceable calibrations of measuring feeders are required. This additional requested calibration of measurement equipment affects all industries. To address this request, MANNER is in the process to acquire the DAkkS-Accreditation.

XtreMA TORQUE – The high-precision flange line with flexible applicability

The new XtreMA measuring flange series from MANNER Sensortelemetrie offers not only an attractive price but also the typical MANNER advantages for a wide range of installation spaces and connection requirements.

A test bench measurement product for flexible applicability

Torque measurement is the central parameter for the development of combustion engines, hybrid- and electronic modules and as a consequence also on the test benches that are used for validation.

Since the potential for optimization is constantly diminishing, high-precision measuring equipment is required in order to be able to reproduce these small improvements. The demand for real test conditions (idling, partial and full load, as well as a wide operating temperature range) is high.

Compact torque flange evaluation unit with 40 mm range and integrated torque, temperature and speed detection

For professional measuring more and more frequently plug & play systems are desired by practitioners which require little installation and adjustment effort to start the measuring operation.

However, features such as precise torque detection (accuracy class better than 0.05) with integrated temperature detection and, if necessary, compensation of the ambient temperature influence and speed detection are also required.

MANNER sensor telemetry now offers as standard for the torque sensor XTREMA, a compact evaluation unit with integrated pick-up.

In this compact version, the standard digital interfaces are available such as EtherCAT, CAN or Ethernet, but also the analogue outputs like frequency (Fout = 10 ± 5kHz) or voltage output Uout = 0 ... ± 10V can be ordered. With this compact unit the usual interface unit in the control cabinet is substituted. This saves costs and electric wiring effort.
