Manner Sensortelemetrie GmbH also supplies optional radio sensor telemetry systems with antenna diversity. With these systems transmission and data reliability are significantly improved through the positioning of two receiving antennas.

The deployment of two receiving antennas is particularly expedient when there is no constant line of sight between the transmitting and receiving antennas (e.g. with rotating shafts). Radio interference as a result of reflection from closely situated metal elements (e.g. in a ship) can also be compensated for using this technology.

At any given time, a specially developed diversity combiner selects an interference-free receiver signal. This prevents data loss as a result of shadowing or interference.
