Vibration Analysis / Turbine Blades
Our clients from the field of turbo machines particularly value our sensor telemetry systems for the measurement of turbine blade vibrations. Unsteady aerodynamic effects and aerodynamic forces cause rotor blades to oscillate, which in many cases requires a precise measurement of various parameters of these vibrations.
In respect of material fatigue on the turbine blades, numerous customers employ turbine telemetry from Manner. This enables all kinds of fatigue, such as crack propagation through to blade fractures, to be effectively predicted. Our turbine telemetry has also been successfully employed for test purposes relating to turbine blade construction, material and composition.
With the help of our non-contact sensor telemetry, nothing stands in the way of an optimisation of the stability, aerodynamics, efficiency and lifetime of turbines and turbine blades. Our applications are characterised by the following special features:
- Precise measurement of blade, i.e. paddle vibrations at high revolution speeds
- Non-contact energy transmission by means of inductive coupling
- Effective utilisation of the measured data using an evaluation unit and specially programmed telemetry software from Manner
- Highly precise and reliable digital measured data
- High temperature resistance (up to 150°C)
- Miniaturised and low weight models
- Extremely easy to mount
